Me an' flowers

My lover and I had a horrible fight. We hadn't spoken in at least a week. One day my cat became very ill and I had to put her to sleep. At the same time my father, who is an alcoholic, has been drinking himself into oblivion. I was feeling suicidal and could hardly move that day.

When I came home from euthanizing my poor little cat, I found this HUGE vase of flowers on my doorstep from anonymous.

That night I received a message from my lover saying he needed to talk to me. I went to see him and found out it was him who gave me the flowers.

Here's the best part: He didn't know about my father or my cat. He just happened to stop by with them while I was away doing something that caused me a lot of trauma.

Sometimes...love is just there and we don't have to ask.

This is just a little boquet I put together out of the huge vase...there were SO many more flowers. Soon I will put up a picture of the whole thing because it realy meant a lot to me, and still does.

My cat, Caleeko, passed on June 27th. R.I.P.
